Synopsis

Over six electrifying episodes spread across three grueling days, the show follows a diverse field of aspiring soul singers, rappers, to raw street-corner poets, as they navigate the brutal, beautiful, and often unpredictable journey from open auditions to a live finale. With only $10,000 separating one dreamer from a new life, every note matters. Every breakdown becomes a breakthrough. And every performance is a battle for the soul of soul music itself.

At the helm is the incomparable Carisha the Diva, whose wit, wisdom, and larger-than-life personality are a show within a show. She guides the chaos and the contestants through a competition designed to test not just vocal ability, but authenticity, resilience, and artistry. 

Behind the judges’ table, the tension is just as thick as on stage. Judge Lil Bankhead, the iconic voice of V-103 FM, brings street credibility, unfiltered honesty, and an ear for radio-ready soul. He’s joined by P Brown, a seasoned panelist judge known for shaping artist, whose stern critiques hide a deep investment in discovering new talent. Dru Smith, Lil Bankhead’s savvy manager who’s unpredictable taste, cryptic comments, and no non-sense critiques style. The Kelvin Special rounds out the panel, delivering comedy and surprising musical insight in equal measure adding levity and unexpected depth is fan-favorite comedian The Kelvin Special, whose razor-sharp moments with contestants provide comic relief resonance. But, the wild card is “Industry Shae,” the avant-garde A&R whose unapologetic brilliance leave contestants and viewers guessing. Shae doesn’t just judge, she curates futures.
